Commander-in-Chief on Ukraine’s counteroffensive: Only 50km left to the border
ROMAN PETRENKO -- SUNDAY, 11 SEPTEMBER 11, 2022, 12:01 Valerii Zaluzhnyi, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, showed photos from the work of units involved in the libetation of Ukrainian territories. Source: Zaluzhnyi on Telegram
Quote Zaluzhnyi: "The Armed Forces continue to liberate territories occupied by Russia. Since the beginning of September, more than 3,000 square kilometres have been returned to the control of Ukraine.
In the Kharkiv front, we have militarily advanced not only to the south and East but also to the North. The state border is 50 km away.
These photos show the results of the work of several units of our Armed Forces. In close cooperation, they liberated the villages of Bairak, Nova Husarivka, Shchurivka and Vilkhuvatka.

The capture of powerful fortified areas of Russian troops, which they proudly called "Maskva", "Omsk" and "Pitier" [Moscow and Petersburg, pronounced with a mocking Moscow accent], made it possible to launch a counteroffensive on Balaklia, Izium and Kupiansk."
Note: Ukraine liberated more territories in a few days than Russia has captured since April, according to US analysts.
