Occupiers damaged infrastructure of more than 30 settlements on Saturday – General Staff report

KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO -- SATURDAY, 17 SEPTEMBER 2022, 18:15 Infrastructure of more than 30 Ukrainian settlements was damaged due to Russian attacks on 17 September. At the same time, Ukrainian aviation struck 10 areas where enemy soldiers and equipment were concentrated, as well as three positions of air defence missile systems.

Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information as of 18:00 on 17 September Details: The enemy struck military and civilian facilities on the territory of Ukraine four times with missiles, 15 times with aviation, and more than 20 times with multiple-launch rocket systems on.

Infrastructure of more than 30 settlements has been damaged. It refers to Kharkiv, Siversk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, New-York, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Poltavka, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Nikopol, Orikhiv, Myroliubivka, and Ochakiv.

Threat of aviation and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains. The enemy ?arried out the attacks from tanks, mortars, and artillery, namely:

On the Siversk front - in the areas of Bleshnia (Chernihiv Oblast), Khliborob and Kindrativka (Sumy Oblast);
On the Kharkiv front - in the areas of Kharkiv, Kudiivka, Hoptivka, Anyskyne, Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Senkove, Horokhovatka, Bakhtyn, and Kamianka. The attacks were made from the territory of Russia, in particular;
On the Kramatorsk front - in the areas of Yaremivka, Sosnove, Yarova, Sviatohirsk, Shchurove, Staryi Karavan, Ozerne, Serebrianka, Raihorodok, Pyskunivka, Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Vesele, and Hryhorivka;
On the Bakhmut front - in the areas of Vyimka, Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Mayorsk, New-York, Sukha Balka, and Yurivka.

On the Avdiivka front - in the areas of Vesele, Avdiivka, Netailove, and Opytne..
On the Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhia, and Pivdennyi Buh fronts the enemy attacked all the front line.

More than 50 settlements were attacked, namely: Zelene Pole, Poltavka, Novopil, Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriiske, Ternovi Pody, and Bila Krynytsia.

Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled the enemy's attacks in the areas of Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Pervomaiske, Mykolaivka Druha, and Novomykhailivka throughout the day.

Aviation of the Defence Forces struck ten areas where enemy soldiers and equipment were concentrated, and three positions of air defence missile systems over the day. The enemy's losses are being clarified.

In addition, Ukrainian air defence units shot down one UAV.

Missile troops and artillery struck an enemy command post and an ammunition depot.
