Pentagon: Ukraine to receive first two NASAMS air defense systems within 2 months.

“These air defense systems will help Ukraine protect itself from threats from the air – in particular from airplanes, drones, and cruise missiles,” Pentagon press secretary General Patrick Ryder said. NASAMS are surface-to-air missile systems capable of detecting and hitting targets at distances up to 180 kilometers.
