Russian-appointed “governor” of Zaporizhzhia Oblast joins Putin’s party

Quote from Balytskyi: "I have received a Yedinaya Rossiya party ticket, which was personally handed to me by Andrey Turchak, the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Secretary of the General Council of Yedinaya Rossiya party."

Details: Balytskyi added that he had received a party ticket in Melitopol at the so-called polling station. In the worst traditions of Soviet times, the traitor thanked Putin's party "for trust." Previously:

Yevhen Balytskyi is a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament, who represented the Party of Regions. In 2020, he was elected a Deputy of the Regional Council from the Opposition Bloc [another pro-Russian party, the successor of the disbanded Party of Regions]. The traitor was notified that he was under suspicion under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code.

He faces a sentence of between 5 and 10 years in prison, with confiscation of property.
