Russian forces withdraw from Kharkiv Oblast and retreat in Kherson Oblast – General Staff report
KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO - SUNDAY, 11 SEPTEMBER 2022, 18:27 Russian forces are fleeing Kharkiv Oblast in a frenzy, bringing their loot along; they were forced to retreat from their positions in several towns and villages in Kherson Oblast, too. Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information correct as of 18:00 on 11 September
Quote: "As a result of our forces' successful counteroffensive on the Kharkiv front, Russian forces are abandoning their positions in a frenzy and fleeing with their loot to the still-occupied territories [of Ukraine] or to the Russian Federation.
For example, a convoy of two buses, one truck and 19 stolen cars carrying approximately 150 soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces has left Borshchova and Artemivka in Kharkiv Oblast. This is similar to what happened in the city of Svatove in Luhansk Oblast. There, the occupiers hastily abandoned the city, fleeing in four Kamaz trucks, 20 Tigr armoured vehicles and over 20 cars stolen from local residents."
"The occupiers have also withdrawn from their positions in several towns and villages in Kherson Oblast. In light of their considerable personnel losses, Russian troops forced local residents to vacate the Central City Hospital in Nova Kakhovka and are now using the hospital exclusively to treat wounded [Russian] military personnel." Details: Over the course of 11 September, Russian forces carried out 16 missile strikes and three airstrikes on targets across the territory of Ukraine, inflicting damage on 15 towns and villages, including Derhachi, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Dnipro, Voznesensk and Mykolaiv.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Velyki Prokhody, Kurdiumivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Maiorsk, Ozerianivka, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Vodiane.
Ukrainian aircraft carried out five airstrikes over the day to support the operations of ground forces, striking four areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated. A Russian anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed. Russia's total losses have yet to be confirmed.
