Ukraine’s Armed Forces strike 4 areas with concentration of Russian servicemen and 1 strong point – General Staff

In addition, the replenishment of occupying troops by reserves was disrupted as a result of a strike on the unloading station.

In the course of 16 September, Russian forces carried out four missile strikes, five airstrikes and 12 attacks using rocket artillery systems on targets on the territory of Ukraine.
Infrastructure in more than 18 settlements was damaged by airstrikes, missile strikes, and attacks using rocket artillery systems. These include Kharkiv, Zolochiv, Druzhkivka, Siversk, Zakitne, Niu-York, Marinka, Poltavka, Mali Shcherbaky, Myrne, Velyke Artakove, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Olhivske, Zaporizhzhia, Orikhiv and Myroliubivka. The Russian soldiers fired on Ukrainian territories using tank guns, mortars and artillery:
on the Kharkiv front, including attacks from the Russian Federation's territory: the vicinities of Hoptivka, Kozacha Lopan, Mala Vovcha, Neskuchne, Zybyne, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Kupiansk and Prystin; on the Sloviansk front: on the area of Horokhovatka; on the Kramatorsk front: Pryshyb, Tetianivka, Kryva Luka, Ozerne, Pyskunivka, Raihorodok, Starodubivka, Bilohorivka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Yarova, Sviatohirsk, Donetske and Bilohorivka;
on the Bakhmut front: Niu-York, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Yakovlivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vesele and Maiorsk; on the Avdiivka front: Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Avdiivka and Vodiane; Russian forces did not undertake active operations on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, but fired on the positions of Ukrainian forces along the entire contact line.
Over 30 settlements, including the city of Zaporizhzhia, suffered from the occupiers' artillery fire. on the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian troops also fired on: Pravdyne, Luch, Stepova Dolyna, Liubomyrivka, Novohryhorivka, Myrne, Shyroke, Kyselivka, Pervomaiske, Bilohirka, Sukhyi Stavok, Ivanivka, Bila Krynytsia, Novopetrivka, Olhyne, Vysokopillia, Novovoznysenske and Osokorivka. Russian occupying forces continue to use educational institutions in the temporarily occupied territories to house military personnel and equipment.
According to available information, military equipment is stationed on the premises of the local agrarian lyceum [specialised secondary school -ed.] in the settlement of Khomivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Russian personnel are staying in the lyceum's buildings. The situation appears to be similar in other Russian-occupied settlements, such as Podoly (Kharkiv Oblast), Chernihivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) and Pidstepne (Kherson Oblast). Russian occupying authorities are introducing an enhanced security regime on the Pivdennyi Buh front.
Local residents of some settlements in Kherson Oblast are prohibited from approaching the crossings. As a result of the successful actions of units of Ukraine's defence forces, the Russian army suffers daily from significant losses of military personnel and equipment, which significantly affect the psychological state of the Russian invaders. Soldiers of the Russian tactical unit operating in Kherson Oblast understand the futility of the offensive, so they complain that there are only two ways for them to return home: by injury or death.
