Wreckage of a Russian Su-30SM were found in the Izium area

The wreckage of another downed Russian aircraft was found in the Kharkiv Region. This time, the wreckage of the Su-30SM fighter aircraft were found in the Izium area. The aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces had the tail number RF-81773/”Red 62″.

Impact on the ground was so powerful that the R-73 air-to-air guided missile stuck in the ground.

This was not the first Russian Su-30SM fighter aircraft shot down in the Kharkiv region. In August, a downed Russian Su-30SM multirole fighter with the number RF81771 was identified in Kharkiv region.

The Russian Su-30SM fighter aircraft belonged to the 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force. In the summary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was reported that on March 13, at an altitude of 6,000 meters, a little to the south of Izium, a Russian SU-30 fighter aircraft was shot down.

Aircraft was to attack Balakliia. Sergey Kosyk, deputy commander of the 14th regiment of the Russian Air Force, was captured.
