Quote: "To date, there are about 2,000 officially registered destructions, but looking at it myself, Orikhiv has been 70% destroyed.

A lot of houses have been burning lately because we are also being bombed with phosphorus bombs, and the houses just burn to the ground. Due to the density of shelling, a lot of houses are on fire, and it is impossible to extinguish them." Details: Mandrych said that the city is under fire both day and night, and attacks can last up to  seven to fourteen hours in a row.

"It is impossible to even get out of the basements, where people are staying for seven to fourteen hours. There are still about 2,000 people in the city and about 2,700 in the hromada [an administrative unit designating, in this case, the city of Orikhiv and its adjacent territories - ed.]. This includes the villages of Novopavlivka, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriivka.

Villages that remain unoccupied," said the deputy mayor of Orikhiv.
