Russians hit Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Details: Onyshchuk stated that a fire broke out at the power plant, but it has already been extinguished by employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. There were no casualties. The road near Burshtyn TPP is temporarily closed.
Onyshchuk called on the residents of the oblast to reduce electricity consumption, especially from 17:00 to 23:00.
Background:
- On Wednesday, 19 October, the Russian occupiers again launched a massive attack on Ukraine.
- As of 15:30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had shot down four out of six of the invaders' cruise missiles and a dozen kamikaze drones.
- In particular, anti-aircraft defence was deployed in Kyiv Oblast; the Russian occupiers also attacked Vinnytsia Oblast with missiles.
- Air defence forces also shot down several Russian missiles over Kyiv.
- In Chernihiv, a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone caused an explosion.
