City of Izium 80% destroyed by Russian occupiers
Eighty per cent of buildings are estimated to have been damaged or destroyed during active hostilities in the city of Izium, Kharkiv Oblast. We are counting on their support. Unfortunately, Izium is perhaps the city most affected by the occupiers, 80% of the city is destroyed. Everyone knows about this."
Details: Syniehubov reported that the occupiers also destroyed special equipment that was on the books of community-owned businesses in Izium.
Meanwhile, reconstruction work is ongoing in the city. Ukrposhta [Ukrainian Post - ed.] was one of the first to resume its operations. Bank branches have now returned to the liberated settlements.

Background: Russian troops had occupied the city of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast from 2 April 2022. Russian forces withdrew from the city on 10 September, leaving military equipment behind. Izium was badly damaged during the hostilities.
