Great Britain to hand over heated tents and equipment to Ukrainian forces

The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with 12,000 sleeping kits and 150 heated tents. This is stated on the website of the Government of the United Kingdom. The UK is set to deliver more than 25,000 sets of extreme cold weather clothing for the Ukrainian military by mid-December.
The extreme cold weather kits are additional to more than 7,000 sets distributed to recruits on Operation Interflex. "With winter fast approaching, this equipment will ensure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to operate effectively through the next few months. Alongside our training programme and the provision of lethal aid, it demonstrates our commitment to making sure that the basic Ukrainian soldier is well trained, well equipped and given the best possible chance to fight," British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak mentioned this batch of aid to Ukraine prior to the meeting with General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9. It is emphasized that the head of the British government and the Secretary General of NATO will discuss assistance for Ukraine.
Jens Stoltenberg will also visit military bases where Ukrainian military personnel are trained under the Operation Interflex. "NATO is the cornerstone of our security, and the security of our allies. As the war in Ukraine continues to rage, we must not take peace at home for granted," Rishi Sunak said.

As previously reported, at the end of October, Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced that Great Britain was preparing air defense systems to help Ukraine.
Multinational Operation Interflex is also ongoing in Great Britain, in which instructors from Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ukraine and, in fact, the United Kingdom participate.
