Russian occupation authorities of Crimea claim “high level of terrorist threat”
The "yellow level of terrorist threat" has been introduced in the temporarily occupied Crimea; however, it is only to be introduced in some areas of the occupied peninsula. Source: Sergey Aksyonov, head of the occupation administration of Crimea, on Telegram Quote by Aksyonov: "In order to ensure the security and anti-terrorist protection of the Republic of Crimea and its citizens, a high ["yellow" - ed.] level of terrorist threat will be in effect on the territory of a number of municipalities and facilities of the Republic from 20:00 on 22 November 2022 to 20:00 on 7 December 2022".
Details: According to Aksyonov, this decision affects the territories of the city districts of Armiansk, Dzhankoi, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, as well as Dzhankoi, Krasnoperekopsk and Lenin districts of Crimea.
The "yellow level of terrorist threat" is introduced at the facilities of the so-called Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Ministry of Industrial Policy and State Committee for Water Management and Land Reclamation of Crimea. Aksyonov assures that the situation in the region is under "full control" and "the security of the Republic of Crimea, its residents and guests is fully ensured by law enforcement agencies".
