The Netherlands hands over three field hospitals for the National Guard of Ukraine

The Netherlands is transferring three field hospitals to Ukraine. This became known during the meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine Jennes de Mol, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. The ambassador handed over a letter from the head of the defense department of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren, in which it was said that the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands will soon provide Ukraine with three modern field hospitals for the needs of the National Guard of Ukraine.
"I want to express my deep respect and admiration for the bravery shown by you and the Ukrainian people in confronting the Russian Federation," says the letter from the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren. Monastyrskyi and de Mol discussed the current situation on the Ukrainian-Russian frontline and the problems of restoring life in the liberated territories.

This cooperation will be discussed during the technical conference "Coordination of donors for the mine action program in Ukraine" in Geneva. The conference is organized by the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining together with the secretariat of the National Mine Action Authority. At the end of March, a field hospital was deployed in Ukraine, which was handed over by the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

It is intended for the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded military personnel and temporarily displaced persons who have left their homes. The mobile medical facility is designed for 50 beds. The hospital can operate without electricity on a diesel generator.
It is also provided with the necessary supplies of medicines and consumables for a year of operation at full load.
