Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 8 settlements – General Staff report
Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine's defence forces have repelled the attacks of Russian occupation forces near eight cities, towns and villages in Donetsk Oblast. Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information as of 06:00 on 26 November Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine's defence forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian forces have carried out 11 missile strikes and 7 airstrikes, as well as over 50 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS). Kupiansk and Chuhuiv (Kharkiv Oblast), Bilenke (Donetsk Oblast), Komyshuvakha and Kushuhum (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) were hit by Russian missiles.
There were no changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts. There is no evidence that Russia is forming additional units to launch a new offensive.
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian forces shelled areas in and around Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Lyptsi, Starytsia, Ohirtseve and Dvorichna (Kharkiv Oblast). On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian forces are defending their current positions and deployed tank guns and tubed artillery to fire on areas in and around Kupiansk, Berestove, Kyslivka and Tabaivka (Kharkiv Oblast); Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Ploshchanka (Luhansk Oblast); and Yampolivka and Torske (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians are focusing their efforts on conducting an offensive.
They fired on areas in and around Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Nevelske and Marinka (Donetsk Oblast). Russian forces are holding the line on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts. They deployed tank guns and all types of artillery at their disposal to fire on areas in the vicinity of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Neskuchne, Vremivka, Novopil, Zelene Pole (Donetsk Oblast); and Olhivske, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske and Charivne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson fronts, Russian forces are reinforcing their defences along the River Dnipro and further inland, improving their ground lines of communication, and continuing to deploy artillery to shell the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements on the right bank of the River Dnipro. The cities of Ochakiv (Mykolaiv Oblast) and Kherson (Kherson Oblast) came under Russian fire. The General Staff reported that units of Russian occupation forces in Luhansk Oblast have suffered substantial losses.
The number of civilian hospitals that have been repurposed to treat exclusively Russian military personnel has increased on the Russian-occupied territory of the oblast. Medical services are becoming increasingly difficult to access for the civilian population. Hospitals in Krasnyi Luch, Antratsyt and Lutuhyne are overflowing with injured Russian soldiers, and local morgues are at capacity due to high numbers of the bodies of Russian military personnel.
The General Staff confirmed Russia's losses on 24 November. In the city of Melitopol in the Russian-occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian ammunition storage point and injured around 50 Russian military personnel. Two ammunition storage points were destroyed in the Vasylivka district, where up to 130 Russian soldiers were injured and seven pieces of military equipment were destroyed.
The number of Russian soldiers killed in the attack has yet to be confirmed. Russian conscripts continue to experience equipment shortages. The residents of Kostroma Oblast (Russia) are being urged on social media to make masing nets and donate warm clothes, sleeping mats and bags, and other critical personal equipment.
At the same time, despite the efforts of Russian propaganda, civilians in Russia are offering less material support to the Russian army. Russia's military and political leaders have started to receive reports on the real outcomes of Russia's mobilisation campaign and the extent to which this autumn's conscription plan has been fulfilled. Military commissariats in Kaliningrad Oblast have so far failed to fulfil the autumn conscription goals due to draft dodging among conscripts.
Ukraine's aircraft have carried out 14 air strikes on clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and equipment and four strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery have struck a Russian command post, five clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment and two other critical military targets.
