Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian forces near 14 settlements – General Staff report
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian assaults in the vicinity of 14 settlements over the course of the past 24 hours. Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information as of 06:00 on 12 November Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Masiutivka and Orlianka (Kharkiv Oblast); Novoselivske, Miasozharivka, Makiivka and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast), and Soledar, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Marinka and Pavlivka (Donetsk Oblast).
Meanwhile, Russian forces carried out 4 missile strikes and 23 airstrikes, as well as over 70 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS). More than 25 Ukrainian cities, towns and villages in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under Russian fire.
There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. Belarus and Russia are continuing to form a joint military unit on Belarusian ground.
There is an ongoing threat of Russian missile strikes and airstrikes. On other fronts, the Russians continued to fire on military and civilian targets:
- On the Slobozhanshchyna front: Russian forces deployed mortars and tubed artillery to fire on areas in and around Bolohivka, Vilkhuvatka, Krasne, Ohirtseve and Starytsia (Kharkiv Oblast);
- On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts: Russian forces deployed tank guns and artillery of various calibres to fire on areas in and around Bilohorivka, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, Makiivka, Nevske, Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast), Berestove, Kupiansk and Tabaivka (Kharkiv Oblast) and Serebrianka and Terny (Donetsk Oblast);
- On the Bakhmut front: the Russians deployed tank guns and all types of artillery at their disposal to fire on areas in and around Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Verkhnokamianske, Zalizne, Klishchiivka, Maiorsk, Opytne, Soledar and Yakovlivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- On the Avdiivka front: the Russians deployed tanks, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Kamianka, Kostiantynivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- On the Novopavlivka front: the Russians fired on areas in and around Bohoiavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Neskuchne, Pavlivka and Prechystivka (Donetsk Oblast) using tank guns and various types of artillery;
- On the Zaporizhzhia front: Russian forces fired on areas in and around Dorozhnianka, Huliaipole, Zelenyi Hai, Malynivka, Olhivske, Stepove, Charivne, Chervone and Shcherbaky (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) using tank guns and all types of artillery at their disposal;
- On the Pivdennyi Buh front: the areas in and around Vyshchetarasivka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) and Havrylivka, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka and Novooleksandrivka (Kherson Oblast) were shelled using artillery.
Russian forces on the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts are continuing to use the premises and grounds of religious, educational and healthcare institutions and organisations as bases for their personnel and equipment, and to deploy mortars and artillery systems.

The General Staff has confirmed that Ukraine's defence forces struck a cluster of Russian military personnel on 10 November, injuring over 100 Russian soldiers.
Information about the number of Russian soldiers killed in the attack has yet to be confirmed. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft carried out 16 airstrikes on Russian forces, striking 13 clusters of military personnel, weapons and equipment and 3 anti-aircraft defence systems. Ukrainian forces shot down at least 1 Russian Orlan-10 UAV.
Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck 2 Russian command posts, 9 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment and 2 other crucial military targets.
