During the liberation of the villages of the Mykolaiv region, the soldiers of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk came across an interesting find.

In one of the private houses, which was captured by the Russian invaders, among other things left by the enemy, there were several Soviet armored vests ZhZL-74.

This body armor was developed in 1974 to replace the more outdated ZhZT-71 M at that time.

It is based on the so-called scaly arrangement of elements with a diameter of 50 mm and a thickness of 2 mm, arranged in two rows.
