Four people injured in Kyiv Oblast in Russian attack

As a result of a missile attack on Friday, four people were injured in Kyiv Oblast, one of whom is still in hospital.  Source: Oleksii Kuleba, Head of Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram Quote: "We have four injured people as of now because of a missile attack.

Three of them are home already, one person is still in hospital. Condition is stable." Details: Kuleba has pointed out that the situation with restoring electricity supply in Kyiv Oblast is "gradually aligning" after the attack. 

"Power specialists are working in order to reach scheduled power cuts and restore the supply to Brovary and Boryspil by midnight.

The situation in Bila Tserkva is more difficult, but we have a clear restoration plan. I am asking for patience and understanding of the circumstances," he posted.  The head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration has added that the entire critical infrastructure sector in the oblast is functioning. 

Background: The Russians launched a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure on 16 December. The occupiers used 70 cruise and 4 guided air-launched missiles; Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 60 cruise missiles.

As a result of the strikes, several energy infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts were hit.

Earlier, Kuleba reported that a critical infrastructure facility and nine residential buildings in Kyiv Oblast were damaged in the large-scale attack.
