Bakhmut remains the hottest point of the front. In the last day alone, the enemy has fired about 225 artillery strikes from various types of artillery, rocket launchers and tanks in this direction. More than 28 combat clashes were also recorded, said Serhii Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, last day in the battles in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy suffered significant losses: more than 90 occupiers were killed, and more than a hundred were wounded.

Despite this, Russians do not stop trying to break through the Ukrainian defenses, but without success.

At the same time, he said that in the Avdiivka and Vuhledar areas, "the intensity of fighting is actually the same."
