The Russian media reported this. It is noted that rescue services received a call reporting the fire on December 27. The flames were noticed by the servicemen of one of the division's units.
The fire quickly covered the two-story building. The building burned to the ground as a result of the fire.

The unit is stationed in the Rostov region. It is part of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District. The creation of the division began on December 1, 2016.
The division's 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiment is located in the village of Persianovskoe.

As previously reported, on December 23, a fire broke out in the territory of a military unit in Moscow. The fire occurred at the one-story garage boxes.
The burning area covered about 200 square meters. The fire was extinguished with the help of about 10 fire brigades. The Russians claim that no one was injured in the fire.
