760 Russians killed in Ukraine on 31 December

Russian occupiers lost 760 more soldiers, 5 artillery systems and 2 tanks in the war in Ukraine on 31 December.  Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 1 January 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • 3,031 (+2) tanks
  • 6,084 (+9) armoured combat vehicles
  • 2,021 (+5) artillery systems
  • 423 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems
  • 213 (+0) air defence systems
  • 283 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
  • 269 (+0) helicopters
  • 1,792 (+46) operational-tactical UAVs
  • 723 (+12) cruise missiles
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats
  • 4,720 (+13) vehicles and tankers
  • 181 (+1) special vehicles and other equipment

The occupiers suffered the heaviest losses on the Lyman and Bakhmut fronts.
