To implement the project, they plan to collect 31,000,000 hryvnias. It is noted that this amount must cover 100% of the needs of the crews of the Ukrainian army aviation in special equipment. "We are buying flame-resistant uniforms and helmets, because burns are one of the most common injuries and causes of death among helicopter crews that have suffered enemy damage," says Oleh Karpenko, head of the Development and Partnerships Department of the Come Back Alive Foundation.
Equipment consists of an aviation helmet, fire-resistant jackets, trousers, balaclava and gloves. All this will be purchased in the USA by the charity fund. The total amount of the deal reaches over 846 thousand dollars, or 31 million hryvnias. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, the army aviation has been carrying out important and dangerous tasks.
The crews of the Ukrainian Mi-8 and Mi-24, in particular, delivered aid to the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, blocked by the Russian invaders.

Moreover, since 2014 and until now, helicopters have been evacuating wounded defenders, delivering provisions, medical supplies, water and ammunition to the most difficult areas of the front, as well as supporting the Ukrainian infantry from the sky. "PrivatBank has become a reliable financial force for the country since the beginning of the war, and together with its numerous clients and partners provides vital support to the rear," says Olesia Zhulynska, head of the bank's communications.
"We offer our convenient channels for this fundraising, so that everyone could act on the desire to support those who are in the skies and to whom we owe the opportunity to work the ground," she added.
Funds for the program can be transferred via the "Privat24" app in the "Kindness" menu, on the website of the charitable foundation "It's easy to help", via ATMs and terminals of "PrivatBank" in the "Charity" section, and at branch cash desks.
