A critical infrastructure facility and private households in the oblast were damaged on the night of 1-2 January. There were no casualties, as per the preliminary information. Quote from Kuleba: "We continue dealing with the aftermath of night attacks; we have 11 damaged private houses in the Fastiv and Obukhiv districts as of this morning.
Relevant commissions are already working there and documenting the scale of damage in order to start repair work as soon as possible."
Details: Kyiv Oblast celebrated the New Year without emergency power cuts despite missile and drone attacks. Power engineers continue to work in emergency mode in order to avoid another round of power outages. Quote from Kuleba: "However, we are observing an increase in electricity consumption and an excessive load on the power grid at the moment.
Therefore, it is important not to forget about reasonable consumption of power and to use power-consuming devices in turns and smartly use electricity."
Background: Vitalii Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv, reported that energy infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of 1-2 January.
