This was announced by Jaroslav Nad, Minister of Defense of Slovakia. "Slovakia firmly supports Ukraine, which is fighting Russian aggression. Already the eighth Zuzana 2 ACS has been transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter.
He also published a photo of the self-propelled guns, which were handed over to the Ukrainian forces.

At the same time, in early October, it was reported that Germany, together with Denmark and Norway, would finance the production and supply of Slovak Zuzana 2 to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is planned to deliver 16 units of these self-propelled guns in 2023. The cost of the contract, according to the German ARD TV channel, amounted to 93 million euros.
Zuzana 2 is a 155mm wheel-mounted, self-propelled gun manufactured by the Slovak company ZTS Special.
This is an upgraded version of the Zuzana 155 mm, which was preceded by the Czechoslovak 152 mm SHkH vz.77 DANA self-propelled gun. Due to the 52-caliber length barrel, the Slovak ACS is capable of shooting at a maximum distance of up to 40 km. The turret turns 360 degrees, and thanks to automation, the number of crew members consists of 3 people.
The howitzer also has an autoloading system that allows it to fire in MRSI mode when several rounds can hit the target at the same time.
