Ukraine receives US$25.5 bln of aid from partners in 2022

Quote: "We have received about UAH 1 trillion from our international partners," the Prime Minister said.
Details: UAH 410 billion [roughly US£10 billion] have been provided by the United States; UAH 390 billion [US£ 9.6 billion] by the European Union and its institutions together with the European Investment Bank. Another UAH 88 billion [US£2 billion] have been received from the International Monetary Fund, UAH 60 billion [US£1.4 billion] from the World Bank and UAH 17 billion [US£418 million] from Japan. Other sums have also been received from many other partners.
Quote: "We are grateful to the governments and people of all countries who supported Ukraine financially in 2022. Thanks to this, we did not delay neither pensions, nor social payments, nor salaries to teachers or doctors even for a single day. We have financed all these expenses in full and on time," Shmyhal added.
