Ukrainian border guards eliminate over dozen occupiers in two battles in Bakhmut
On 2 January, Ukrainian border guards took part in two fierce battles in the city of Bakhmut and near the village of Pidhorodne [Donetsk Oblast - ed.], as a result of which they repelled the attack of the Russian invaders and destroyed more than a dozen soldiers. In addition, in the afternoon they stopped the occupier's attempt to storm the village of Pidhorodne.
According to preliminary data, the defenders killed five invaders in Bakhmut and seven near Pidhorodne. Over 10 invaders were injured. Ukrainska Pravda sources noted that there were no casualties among Ukrainian forces.
