Defense Forces exercise takes place in the Rivne region, near the Belarusian border

In the north of the Rivne region, the Defense Forces of Ukraine conducted special tactical training. The Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Police were involved in this training.
The military and security forces jointly practiced defense scenarios in case of a possible enemy offensive. During one of the training episodes, soldiers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine guarded and protected important facilities of the critical energy infrastructure.

According to him, the threat from the north to Ukraine is currently very low, but the Defense Forces are using this time to train all forces and means more efficiently and intensively. Nayev also noted that personnel training is a highly important element of Ukrainian defense readiness.

"This is how we improve our defense capabilities. The training demonstrated both that the forces are ready to act and what needs to be worked on in the future.
This process is continuous and will continue until the forces and means are ready to act automatically," Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev emphasized.
