Great Britain will give three thousand tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest to Ukrainian refugees

The UK Government will allocate almost 3,000 tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest for Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and now live in this country.  Source: Ministry of Culture and Information Policy Details: "This distribution of tickets will allow thousands of Ukrainians to attend live concerts and is another example of the unwavering support of Ukraine from the UK," the British government said in an official statement. 

The British government also announced the allocation of 10 million pounds to host the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine and support its culture and creativity.

The money will be used to support the partnership of the Liverpool City Council and the BBC with Ukrainian artists and performers to provide a joint show that will celebrate music and bring people from all over the world together. Ukrainians who are in the UK under the programs "Homes for Ukraine", "Ukrainian Family" program and "UK Extension" program will be able to apply for tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest. Tickets will be offered for all nine live broadcasts, including the semi-finals, pre-premiere shows and the final on Saturday, 13 May.

Background: The Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

But because of the war in Ukraine, the current competition will be held not in Ukraine, but in the British city of Liverpool.
