Mykhailo Brodskyi, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine, announced this. "At the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, today, together with members of the Knesset, we looked at the Iranian drones used by Russia in the war against Ukraine. Iran is a threat to Israel, to Ukraine, and to the whole world," Brodskyi wrote.

Since October last year, the Ukrainian military and political leadership has been appealing to Israel to transfer air defense equipment to Ukraine.

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen stated this during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. The system will arrive in Ukraine in 3 to 6 months.
On February 17, Iranian Shahed-136 drones attacked the Campo Square tanker of Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer. The attack on the oil tanker is seen as "a sign of Iran's increasingly threatening actions against shipping in the region." Russia is regularly using Iranian drones to attack Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
On February 12, it was reported that Iran could be secretly shipping new Shahed-191 and Shahed-129 attack drones to Russia.

Shahed-191 is also known as Saegheh-2.
It is equipped with a turbojet engine manufactured by Shahed Aviation Industries. The drone can be armed with two guided bombs (missiles) with Sadid-342 (also known as Sadid-1) warhead, placed in internal compartments. A drone takes off from a vehicle that has special mounts on the roof.
The vehicle's acceleration speed along the runway is unknown. Shahed-129 has hardpoints for 4 to 8 ammunition. In particular, it can carry Sadid-345 guided bombs and Sadid-1 (Sadid-342) anti-tank missiles.
