Supplies of fighter jets not yet discussed – Italian Prime Minister in Kyiv

Meloni stressed that despite some statements in Italian politics, the overwhelming majority of politicians support Ukraine. "The facts are clear for me. Whenever the parliament voted in support of Ukraine, the parties that are part of the coalition voted in favour.

Except for a few statements, in fact, the majority has always been united. There is a single program (of support for Ukraine), it has always been followed and I believe it will be so," the Italian Prime Minister said. Meloni arrived in Kyiv on 21 February around noon by train, which left the Przemysl railway station in Poland at night.

She visited the cities of Bucha and Irpin in Kyiv Oblast and held talks with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
