"Ukraine, the EU, and NATO agreed to establish a coordination mechanism between Ukrainian manufacturers and enterprises of the EU and NATO countries to optimize the production of weapons for Ukrainian needs," the statement reads. Additionally, Dmytro Kuleba proposed to start training the Ukrainian pilots under the current EU and NATO mechanisms.

The tripartite Ukraine-EU-NATO format will operate on a permanent basis. As previously reported, the EU countries will purchase artillery ammunition for the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Josep Borrell is to propose an EU purchase mechanism in early March in Stockholm.
