As per the police, fake videos were widely shared on social media, forcing migrant workers from Bihar to flee Tamil Nadu in panic. Kashyap was produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court in Madurai on Thursday. The police sought seven days custody for interrogation.

However, lawyer Niranjan Kumar, who appeared on behalf of the YouTuber, opposed police custody. After hearing both sides, the court sent Kashyap to police custody for three days and directed the officers to produce him on April 3. --- ENDS ---
