Canada will allocate an additional $3 million to Ukraine for mine clearance

This regards allocating additional funds for demining, continuing the training of the Ukrainian military, and transferring power generators. The statement was published on the website of the Government of Canada. Canada will provide three million dollars for mine clearance in coordination with the European Union.

These are additional funds to the more than £32 million already allocated for mine action. "This new support will help ensure that Ukrainians have the tools they need to address the consequences of President Putin's war of choice," the report said. In 2022, Canada allocated US £5.5 million for direct financial, military, humanitarian, and immigration assistance to Ukraine.
On February 24, Canada announced the transfer of an additional four Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. Thus, the Ukrainian military will receive eight Canadian tanks. Also, Ukraine will receive a repair and evacuation vehicle and 5 thousand artillery ammunition.
