Harry and Meghan ‘may be roasted at Oscars thanks to savage South Park episode’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are yet to announce whether they'll attend this year's Oscars ceremony, but they might still be the focus of attention. That is the opinion of PR expert and The Moment Lab founder Matt Yanofsky, who believes the royals could face the wrath of the comedic hosts on the back of the scathing South Park episode which not-so-subtly mocked the pair. Matt believes that thanks to the adult animated series "ripping the band-aid off", the famous couple could be the butt of the jokes come the 95th annual edition of the Academy Awards on Sunday.
He said: "South Park is a show that is grandfathered into pop culture. Nobody is canceling it, and it has a history of saying what everyone thinks but is scared to say. " The episode was widely well received by viewers, with some labelling it "pure gold".
In it, a couple based on the royals were seen to move across the road from Kyle as they continued their 'worldwide privacy tour" despite craving the attention.

Meghan and Harry are no longer untouchable in the US." And on how they'll be received at Sunday's awards, he added: "The Oscars, though, is the most out-of-touch audience in Hollywood.
It's 50/50 if they joke about the couple or if they start mocking Meghan and Harry in five years. It'll be interesting to see what happens." He revealed the couple are "bigger than ever" which could leave them open for jokes.
But he admitted that despite selling all their "dirty laundry" the couple's decision to label their children "prince" and "princess" means the public will have to pay attention to them. "It's a branding decision, and a thought out one at that," he added.

The one-year-old is said to have been christened last Friday at her home in Montecito, California, with around 20 to 30 people in attendance for the celebration.
Among those in attendance were said to be Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, Lilibet's godfather Tyler Perry and an unnamed godmother. Matt believes that the royal "snub" plays perfectly into the couple's agenda, saying: "Not attending Princess Lilibet's christening ties into their brand's reliance on family drama. "By skipping the christening, they've created another storyline about their problems with the royal family."
