Power outages in 4 oblasts due to effects of attacks, rest have no restrictions

On Monday, March 13, some consumers in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr are still without electricity due to damage caused by the latest massive Russian attack on the infrastructure. Source: Press service of Ukrenergo, the national power regulator, on Telegram Details: "The energy system is being restored after 15 massive missile attacks and 18 drone attacks.

Due to the damage caused by the enemy, some consumers in Zhytomyr and Kharkiv are still without electricity supply," the statement said. Therefore, network restrictions in Zhytomyr and Kharkiv oblasts may result in the forced use of hourly outage schedules. The company added that the critical infrastructure of these cities operates mainly from autonomous power sources.

"In addition, on 9 March, the enemy continued attacking Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, which is why there are emergency power outages in these oblasts.

Repair crews are doing everything possible to restore a stable power supply as soon as possible, but the restoration work will take time," Ukrenergo noted. No consumption restrictions have been imposed on the rest of the oblasts, as consumption is covered by current electricity generation. Background: Stabilising power outages are being introduced in a number of districts of the capital on Monday due to equipment damage.
