Russian forces keep storming city of Bakhmut and conducting offensive actions on several fronts
Russian troops continue to storm Bakhmut and conduct offensives on the Avdiivka, Shakhtarsk, Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, but to no avail. The Russian Federation is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive actions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk fronts. The hostile country keeps violating the norms of international humanitarian law, continues to carry out strikes, artillery shelling of civilian facilities and residential buildings, and is trying to destroy the critical infrastructure of our country."
Details: On 28 February - 1 March, Russian troops launched three missile attacks on civilian targets in Kharkiv Oblast. There are injured civilians.
The invaders also carried out 16 airstrikes, including with the use of two Shahed-136 UAVs. Ukrainian defenders shot down the kamikaze drones. The Russian army conducted over 20 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The threat of missile attacks throughout Ukraine remains high.

On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the situation did not change significantly; no offensive groups of the occupiers were detected. The Russian forces attacked the areas in and around the settlements Yeline and Baranivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Rozhkovychi, Starykove, Hirky, Atynske, Stukalivka, Budky, Volfyne, Turia and Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast; and Krasne, Hlyboke, Vesele, Vilcha, Vovchansk, Karaichne, Varvarivka, Kolodiazne, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast.
They used an UAV with a combat payload near the settlement of Budarky in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russian army is equipping the border areas in the settlements of Gorkovsky and Novostroitelka Vtoraya in Belgorod Oblast with engineering equipment and installing anti-tank barriers. On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian troops conducted offensive actions near the settlements of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Fedorivka in Donetsk Oblast, but to no avail.
They also carried out artillery strikes in the areas in and around the settlements of Lyman Pershyi, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Pishchane in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka, Cherovonopopivka and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast; and Terny and Kotliarivka in Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks in and around the settlements of Bakhmut, Khromove and Ivanivske in Donetsk Oblast. Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Dyliivka, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk and New-York in Donetsk Oblast were affected by Russian fire. On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, Russian troops carried out failed offensive actions in and around the settlements of Kamianka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Marinka in Donetsk Oblast.
Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Pobieda, Vuhledar and Neskuchne in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire. On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the Russian army is on the defensive; it is trying to create conditions for an offensive in some areas. Russian troops shelled over 40 areas in and around settlements using artillery.
In particular, Illinka and Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast; Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; as well as Vesele, Beryslav, Antonivka, Berehove and Veletenske in Kherson Oblast; and the city of Kherson itself. Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defence Forces carried out 16 strikes on the clusters of invaders' military personnel and equipment. Ukrainian defenders also shot down a Russian Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.
Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck one cluster of Russian troops, two ammunition storage points and two electronic warfare systems.
