Slovakia has already handed over four MiG-29s to Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the country reported this. Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad' reported that four aircraft had arrived in Ukraine. Ukrainian pilots moved the fighter jets with the assistance of the Slovak Air Force and Ukrainian personnel.
"I thank everyone involved for the excellent professional work. Slovakia is on the right side, and with this gesture, we as a country have written modern world history in big letters, which speaks of timely help, sincere solidarity, and the greatness of the nation," Nad' said.

In the coming weeks, other aircraft will also be transferred to Ukraine.
However, the department does not provide any details for operational reasons. Information on this will be confirmed immediately after their safe transfer to the Ukrainian side, as in the current case. The transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets takes place under the intergovernmental agreement between Slovakia and Ukraine.
"In total, we are handing over 13 Soviet-made fighter jets and Kub surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine," the country's Ministry of Defense said. Poland is also ready to hand over MiG-29 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Air Force together with Slovakia.

Recently, Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, confirmed his readiness for such actions. He stated that Warsaw is ready to hand over its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine as part of the international coalition.
On March 16, Andrzej Duda reported that Poland plans to hand over the first four MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in the coming days, and later it will transfer all of its aircraft of this type.
