The Armed Forces of Ukraine received American Cougar armored vehicles
The United States transferred MRAP-type Cougar armored vehicles to the Ukrainian military. Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, published the photos of these vehicles. The vehicle was a part of other Western armored vehicles transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Cougar armored vehicles were delivered to the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Photos published by the Minister demonstrate that in addition to Cougar armored vehicles, the Ukrainian military received Stryker wheeled armored personnel carriers, British Challenger 2 tanks, Roshel Senator armored vehicles, and German Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

"Today, together with Major General Maksym 'Mike' Myrhorodsky, Commander of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, and our paratroopers, I had the honor to test the new equipment in our armed units. Challenger from Britain, Stryker, Cougar from the USA, and Marder from Germany," the Minister wrote. The transfer of the MRAP-type of American Cougar armored vehicles to Ukraine was announced in December 2022 in a large US military assistance package worth £1.85 billion.
The United States then pledged to hand over 37 such armored vehicles to Ukraine. The MRAP-type (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) Cougar is a family of armored vehicles manufactured by Force Protection Inc.

These vehicles are protected by a combination of design features and materials to protect both the crew and the landing squad and the engine compartment from a wide range of damage, including from an explosive device or small arms fire. The Cougar armored vehicle has a V-shaped hull bottom that redistributes the energy of the explosive wave away from the crew.
The various versions of the vehicle can have a chassis with a 4x4 or 6x6 wheel arrangement.

The vehicle could be armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
