The Defense Forces of Ukraine have received 300 DJI Mavic 3T Thermal drones. The transfer of a batch of the drones took place within the framework of the "Army of Drones" project, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine informs. The Ministry notes that they have already been sent to the Ukrainian military on the hottest areas of the front.
"160 drones were sent to the east, 85 to Zaporizhzhia direction and another 55 to Kherson direction," the statement reads. It is emphasized that these drones were purchased thanks to the joint fundraising of monobank, Oleh Horokhovskyi and Ihor Lachenkov for the "Army of Drones" under the United24 initiative.

Each Mavic 3T is equipped with a thermal imager and a zoom camera. Therefore, these drones are able to operate at night as well. As the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov notes, these UAVs will allow Ukrainian forces to conduct reconnaissance, aim artillery and destroy Russian military equipment.
It is reported that 9 months after the start of the "Army of Drones" project, it was possible to purchase 3,201 drones. In total, contracts for more than UAH 4 billion have been concluded. The "Army of Drones" project was initiated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the United24 fundraising platform.
It is known that this project is engaged in the systematic procurement of drones, their repair, maintenance and, if necessary, operational replacement. "Army of Drones" also provides a training course for pilots. As previously reported, three first strike companies of unmanned aerial vehicles have already been established in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
