Archie's birthday plans as Prince Harry will miss party for coronation
Prince Archie's fourth birthday celebrations are set to be 'low-key' as his father Prince Harry won't be in attendance. Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Harry would be attending King Charles' coronation - but without his wife Meghan Markle. This is understood largely to be because the coronation day falls on the same day as Archie's birthday.

While Harry unfortunately won't be in attendance, Archie's birthday won't be a huge affair. "It's going to be a low-key party at home," a source told PEOPLE Magazine. "They'll have friends around them and Meghan's mom, Doria [Ragland]. Meghan will definitely have support that weekend."
Despite the fact that Harry will be attending the coronation, he is reportedly hoping that his son will be acknowledged in some way on the big day.

Harry was said to have always been keen to attend the coronation as it is a key milestone for the family, but would like some recognition of his son's celebration. A source told Ok! "The Sussexes have asked for some kind of celebration or acknowledgement to be factored into the day's plans to ensure that his fourth birthday won't get lost during the momentous day." It has also been reported that Harry is planning on staying for the official ceremony, but won't be hanging around for the festivities afterward - choosing instead to return home to Meghan, Archie and Lilibet in California.
