Charles begins final Coronation prep but many details still unknown …
With King Charles and Queen Camilla's Coronation just a few weeks away, details of the festivities are coming through from Buckingham Palace thick and fast. We know the crowns they will wear and the very special role that's been handed to the Monarch's grandson, Prince George. But we're still waiting on lots of exciting updates.
While we know that Prince Harry will be in attendance but Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Lilibet won't, the finalised guest list is yet to be published. The first acts for the Coronation Concert have finally been confirmed, including Katy Perry, Take That and Lionel Richie, but lots of more big names are expected to be announced. However we do know Brits across the UK planning street parties face "unsettled" weather, but thankfully they will have the event's official dish - the Coronation Quiche - to tuck into.
We'll be bringing you the latest updates from royal insiders and experts, as well as live updates from Buckingham Palace, as the Coronation countdown hits 16 days.

While many of us tune in to King Charles' Coronation on May 6 - there will be a big party going on across the Pond. It will be a very different story Stateside to the pomp and ceremony of the Coronation as Archie will be centre of attention at his "intimate" birthday party. And Harry is so desperate to be there that he's flying off straight after the ceremony and missing the rest of the bumper weekend action.
Obviously devoted grandma Doria Ragland will be there to celebrate her grandson's birthday along with mum Meghan Markle and sister Princes Lilibet. Other names who could possibly attend are tennis ace Serena Williams, George and Amal Clooney and chat show legend Oprah Winfrey. One person who might have a tough decision to make is Hollywood star Orlando Bloom, who is a close pal of Harry, but fiancee Katy Perry is performing at the Coronation concert.

Yesterday we brought you news of the Coronation Quiche, but will it ever be as famous as Coronation Chicken?
It wasn't until the unveiling of Charles' Coronation Dish that Brits started to realise why Coronation Chicken is called Coronation Chicken. The popular sandwich filling was invented for the late Queen's celebration, and was originally called Poulet reine Elizabeth. One baffled Twitter user wrote: "Are you telling me that Coronation chicken was made especially for her?
Had no clue." Read more here.

The King will be anointed at his coronation in full knowledge of his "difficult" task as monarch, the Archbishop of Canterbury has said. Archbishop Justin Welby, writing in the official coronation souvenir programme, said Charles will swap his "robes of status and honour" for a simple white shirt for the anointing during the May 6 ceremony.
The King's anointing is the only part of the ceremony the public will not see and will be a "private moment between a new King and the King of Kings", the Archbishop added. Elizabeth II was also anointed in private as is the tradition, wearing a plain pleated linen dress over her coronation gown, as she sat beneath a golden canopy. The Archbishop said, the King, dressed in the simple white garment, will come before God as a servant "in the full knowledge that the task is difficult and he needs help".
He added: "In the full knowledge that even as a King, he is one of the people and that even if he has a particular role to fulfil, he shares in our human frailties and vulnerabilities".

We don't yet have the full guest list for the event or the running programme for the Westminster Abbey celebration.
We also still don't know the full list of performers taking to the stage at Windsor Castle for the Coronation Concert on Sunday night.
