A forgotten Prince William and Prince Harry interview has resurfaced, showing the pair's "worrying banter". Although tensions between the brothers have been ongoing for quite some time, eagle-eyed royal watchers think the old interview may well give an early inkling to their sibling feud. According to Edinburgh Live, they were both in their 20s when they took part in a lengthy chat with ITN in 2009 about their careers in the Armed Forces at the Royal Air Force Shawbury station in Shropshire.

It was their first time living together since being at boarding school together at Eton College.

At beginning of the interview, Harry complemented William and said: "I think out of both of us, he's definitely got more brains than me, we've established that from school" to which William rolled his eyes jokingly and comments: "And looks as well." Harry then joked about his older brother's "baldness". William laughed and said: "Pretty rich coming from a ginger."

Throughout the interview, the pair tried to outdo one another with their "banter" and leading TV expert in body language and social behaviour Judi James analysed the royals' "worrying" interview. Judi told the Express : "Banter can be a form of play-fighting among siblings, a way to establish pecking orders and to air complaints under the cover of humour." She added: "Even in families it needs to be finely tuned and this video of William and Harry exchanging endless banter as they are interviewed about their experiences as helicopter pilots does seem to throw up several red flags in terms of not knowing when to stop or how far to go.

"It sounds fun and even fond, but the sentiments behind this banter appear worrying."

Journalists questioned the brothers about living together, to which William joked: "Well, bear in mind, I cook (for) him and feed him basically every day. I think he's done rather well." William continues, and jokes about Harry leaving his dishes in the sink and that he has to clean up after his younger brother, to which Harry smiles and said: "Oh, the lies."

He continued: "The first and last time we will be living together, I can assure you of that," before William sarcastically interjected: "It's been a fairly emotional experience." However, the future king did praise his younger sibling about his work ethic despite the pair constantly poking fun at each other throughout the interview. Sign up to our newsletter here.

William said: "He's doing a fantastic job, he puts himself down but genuinely he's doing seriously well. I spoke to his instructor and he's doing a fantastic job, he's just very modest about it." Harry added: "We are both here just trying to do our bit, become helicopter pilots and we are having a fantastic time.

Yes, it is hard work but everything is hard work nowadays. "The helicopter course is a very strenuous course, but he's (William) managed to get through so I reckon I can." William instantly quipped: "I just said something nice, so you could say something nice?", to which Harry said: "And he's great, he's great..." as he jokingly wrapped his arm around his older brother's shoulder.
