Prince Harry has lamented a "sad day" following the death of a friend and co-worker. Bryn Parry, who founded Help for Heroes, has tragically died. The Duke of Sussex has led the tributes to Mr Parry online.
The prince's charity paid tribute to Bryn in a Twitter post. They captioned it: "Bryn Parry, co-founder of UK charity @HelpforHeroes has died." They added: "Together with his wife, Bryn was responsible for changing the landscape of support for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans in the UK." The Invictus Games Foundation also shared a message from Prince Harry.
He said: "Today is truly a sad day for the military community as we bid farewell to a man who, alongside his wife, completely transformed the UK charity sector for the benefit of those who have served. His vision, determination and brilliance provided a lifeline for thousands of veterans, as well their families, when they needed it most. Those that come after him will always be better off because of his actions."

Your legacy lives on through Help For Heroes. Our love and respect will remain with your family." Prince William has also issued a statement. "Deeply sad to hear that Bryn Parry has passed away.
A life-affirming, inspirational man, his work with @HelpforHeroes made a difference to so many and his legacy will be its continuing impact. My thoughts are with his family and friends. W," he wrote.
Help for Heroes said: "Thank you.
Bryn was a true legend to us all, kind, earnest & passionate whose energy was contagious.
We are so proud to continue the work of Bryn & Emma & carry on Bryn's legacy."
