Harry stayed at Frogmore during UK return despite eviction
The Duke of Sussex stayed at Frogmore Cottage during his return to the UK last week, it is believed. Despite Prince Harry and Meghan being issued an eviction notice by King Charles to vacate the Windsor home, they are still able to use the property until the end of May. That means if they accept the monarch's invitation to the coronation, they will likely stay at Frogmore for the last time.

Prince Harry surprised everyone by appearing at London's High Court last Monday for a four-day hearing in his claim against the Daily Mail. He is one of seven claimants who allege they were victims of phone hacking, along with Sir Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, Sadie Frost and Baroness Doreen Lawrence.
Associated Newspapers, which publishes the Daily Mail, has denied the claims. The Telegraph UK reports the duke stayed at Frogmore before flying back to Meghan and their two children in Montecito on Thursday evening.

The issue remains before the courts after the duke took legal action, challenging the government's refusal to permit it. In September, 2021, he successfully applied for a judicial review of a decision to provide Metropolitan Police security for his family only on a case-by-case basis, the outcome of which remains unclear.

A friend told The Telegraph UK: "they made that place their home".
During their return to the UK in September last year, when the Queen died, Prince Harry and Meghan were based at Frogmore. They also stayed there during the Platinum Jubilee weekend in June. The property was a wedding gift from the late monarch who offered it after Prince Harry and Meghan found Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace, too small for their growing family.
