Homesick Prince Harry 'desperate' to be at Coronation and 'willing …
As the Coronation of King Charles III fast approaches, final arrangements are being made. The historic moment will even see the Duke of Sussex flying back from his California home to be part of the celebrations. There was much debate as to whether Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle would be attending the event after they missed the early April deadline to RSVP.
It's now been confirmed that Prince Harry will be returning solo for the trip, with the Duchess of Sussex remaining in California with Archie and LIlibet. It's now been revealed that Prince Harry made repeated attempts to contact Charles to discuss plans. But the new King was so busy he only had enough time for one conversation.

A source told The Sun: "Harry was desperate to come back for the Coronation and spend quality time with his family." Initially, there were concerns Prince Harry would not be attending his father's Coronation as a list of 'demands' had not been met. However, there are now hopes that Harry's solo trip could finally help rebuild bridges among the royals.
Prince Harry won't be part of the ceremonial procession routes, nor will he be on the balcony as he is no longer a working royal. However, he will be in Westminster Abbey for the Coronation on May 6.

It's thought Meghan is staying behind as the Coronation date clashes with son Archie's fourth birthday, with speculation she was unsure as to how the British public would receive her after a headline-hitting year for the Sussexes.
Harry's initial efforts to communicate more with King Charles came after the fallout of his controversial memoir, Spare, in which he did not have kind words for Queen Consort Camilla. It's believed this was seen as a 'red line' that Harry should never have crossed, with some believing that this could be behind the lack of communication between the King and Prince Harry.

Speaking to ITV's Tom Bradby in January to promote Spare, Harry said: "I want a family, not an institution."
He also claimed he wanted his father and brother "back".
With not long to go until the big day, the future of Prince Harry's relationship with his family could soon become clear.
