Poland and Ukraine will produce tank rounds

Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and the Ukrainian Company signed an agreement on the production of ammunition. The agreement concerns cooperation in the field of production of tank ammunition. The document was signed in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, and his deputy, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

The agreement defines the principles of cooperation between the two entities in the field of 125-mm tank round production. "This is another form of support that Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa provides to Ukraine," the Polish company said.

According to the terms of the agreement, both parties decided to build new production lines in the near future.

They will allow the production of large quantities of 125-mm tank rounds intended for the needs of the Ukrainian military. The production location will be selected jointly by both parties. The Polish side will transfer not only its production technologies to the Ukrainians but also the necessary equipment.

Both sides will supply the components required for the production of ammunition according to their capabilities. Both MESKO SA, part of PGZ Capital Group, and the Ukrainian Company have the necessary competences, experience, and trained personnel in this field.

The agreement on the joint production of 125-mm tank rounds is one of several documents signed during the visit of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to Poland. It is one of the confirmations that the Polish government, along with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, is systematically expanding the scope of assistance for the Ukrainian side.
