Police and ambulance teams at scene of crash in Newport

A crash in Newport has prompted an emergency response (Image: Google Maps) Emergency services have been called to the scene of a collision in Newport this afternoon (Saturday, April 15). Police and ambulance teams are on Fairlee Road, near Medina Leisure Centre at Cross Lane, following reports of a crash.

An eye witness told the County Press that outbound traffic from Newport is still moving normally through the area toward the Racecourse Roundabout.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has been contacted for a statement.
