Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Helped Heal Families …

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have been winning the world with their kind hearts and noble intentions. Ever since they gave up on their UK Sovereigns to seek a life abroad in the United States, all they have achieved so far is only in the intention of the welfare of the public. Be it their various charity campaigns, all of it has contributed to their fans in ways unknown.

And along with the Invictus season gaining momentum, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are everywhere.

Nonetheless, hidden under the popularity of their back-to-back charities, there was one such from last year that fans are not aware of. Their well-known non-profit organization, the Archewell Foundation, joined hands with KABOOM! for a city in Texas, Uvalde, to work for the betterment of society. And this time, not in ways of helping them get better with their mental health, but rather their physical surroundings.

As reported by Harper's Bazaar, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry looked after the construction of a playground for the people living in the somewhat devastated city. The city came in recent news for one of the deadliest school shootings in US history. As reported by various media outlets, the city was left shattered when an 18-year-old gunman open-fired in the Robb Elementary School of Uvalde killing 19 children and 2 teachers in the horrific act. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have closely supervised the DeLeon Park Playground project 

However, five months after the tragedy hit the town, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found a new way of helping the families heal from the trauma.

Owing to the same, they launched the DeLeon Park playground project to give families a space to come together in times of grief and sorrow. The park was reportedly constructed merely four blocks from the crime site. The building sheltering the park was run by the community and kids.

They all contributed by sharing their ideas of what they wanted their park to look like.

Based on their inputs, Archewell and Kaboom did their best to come up with a beautiful park, bringing families together. James Holt, the executive director of Archewell, wrote in a statement, "It has been an honor to support the children and families in Uvalde design and build this amazing space where the community can come together".

Meanwhile, praising the Duchess, a spokesperson shared with Harper's Bazaar her heartfelt efforts. Meghan Markle came up "in a personal capacity as a mother, to offer her condolences and support in person to a community experiencing unimaginable grief," claimed the outlet.
