Prince Harry was reportedly "desperate" to return to the UK for King Charles III coronation. Prince Harry reached out to his dad Charles multiple times ahead of returning next month for the historic event. Harry missed the RSVP for the event, but has confirmed he will attend. A source told The Sun: "Harry was desperate to come back for the Coronation and spend quality time with his family."
There is a "willingness and wanting to mend on both sides", sources have also said. Charles "happy" with his son's decision and "understanding" of Meghan Markle - with whom Harry shares two children - staying behind. As well as the heart-to-heart, reports suggest The Duke made repeated attempts to contact Charles to discuss plans - but his father only had time for one conversation. A Palace spokesperson said: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
