Prince Harry 'desperate' to be at King's Coronation and 'willing' to fix …
With just two week until the big day, final arrangements are in the works for the Coronation of King Charles III. Everything from matters of national importance to the king's personal guest list will need to be tweaked and perfected until it is just so for the historic event. The coronation will even see Prince Harry return to the UK from his California home to take part in the celebrations.
There was some debate as to whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would attend the event after they missed the April deadline to RSVP, but it has now been confirmed Harry will be flying out solo for the coronation, while Meghan Merkle will stay in California with Archie and Lillibet, reports The Mirror. It is now understood Prince Harry made numerous attempts to contact the King to discuss plans, but Charles was too busy for more than one conversation. A source has revealed Prince Harry misses parts of British life and could even be keen to spend more time in the UK, despite Frogmore Cottage being taken away.

There were fears Harry wouldn't make the trip across the pond to attend his father's coronation since a list of 'demands' had not been met.
However, there are now hopes his solo-trip home to England could help rebuild bridges with his family. Prince Harry will not have a major role in the coronation because he is not a working royal - he will not be part of procession routes, nor will he be on the balcony. However, he will be attending Westminster Abbey to see his father crowned on May 6.
Some sources have described "willingness" between the divided family and a sense of "wanting to mend on both sides". It is believed the Duchess of Sussex stayed home as the coronation date clashes with their son Archie's fourth birthday. There is also speculation Meghan may have felt uneasy with how the public would perceive her, following last year's Netflix documentary and the release of Spare, Harry's memoirs.
In particular, Harry's unkind words for Queen Consort Camillia in Spare caused significant fallout. Some felt Harry had, knowingly or unknowingly, crossed a 'red line' which caused a lack of communication between the prince and his father. However, royal sources said Harry has made it clear he wants to spend quality time with his family while in the country - however short the trip may be.
Speaking to ITV's Tom Bradby in January to promote Spare, Harry said: "I want a family, not an institution." He also claimed he wanted his father and brother "back".
