Prince Harry's seven demands to attend the coronation
While Prince Harry recently confirmed he would in fact attend his father King Charles' Coronation next month, he was less sure when asked the same question earlier this year, admitting conversations needed to take place and that the ball was firmly in his family's court. The coronation will take place at Westminster Abbey on May 6, with Prince Harry joining the celebrations on his own, with Meghan declining to attend, instead staying in the US with the couple's children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet - who are not part of Charles' ceremony plans. The Daily Mirror reports that Prince Harry had seven key requests in order to attend the celebrations, though not all have been met.

Conversation Between Prince Harry and King Charles
This is one request that was granted. It was reported Prince Harry wanted to have a face-to-face meeting with his father and brother before agreeing to attend the Coronation. During an interview with Tom Bradby on ITV earlier this month, Harry was asked if he will come to the coronation if he is invited, and he said: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then.
"But, you know, the door is always open. The ball is in their court. "There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they can - that they are willing to sit down and talk about it, because there's a lot that's happened in six years.
And prior to that as well." While the talk with his father and brother didn't happen in person, Harry has reportedly had a heart-to-heart with Charles and will "support for his father" by attending the Coronation.
Conversation with William
This was one request that has not happened, with reports that the pair have not spoken since the Queen's funeral. It's been reported that due to ongoing tensions, the brothers will be sat apart so that there are no awkward moments caught on camera between the pair, according to the Daily Express.
End of Tensions
It was believed that Harry said he would not attend the historic event if tensions between the family were ongoing.
An insider told The Mirror: "Harry has been very clear and his position hasn't wavered - he isn't going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and funeral." However, with those Harry has hurt with his Netflix documentary and autobiography unwilling to forgive and forget just yet, this is one request Harry has had to let slide. It's claimed Prince William has no desire to speak to his younger brother after feeling hurt by his recent behaviour, with the pair to be seated separately.
Meghan Markle invitation
Meghan being invited to the Coronation was a key sticking point for Harry, who would not have attended had she not also being included.
However, despite choosing to remain at home with the children, Meghan was invited to attend the historic day. Speaking in a statement, the Palace said: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May. "The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
It is believed Archie's birthday falling the same day as the Coronation was a key factor in Meghan feeling she was unable to attend.
Archie birthday recognition
This is one request which we will have to wait and see whether it has been granted. The momentous day falls on May 6 - the same day as Prince Archie's fourth birthday. Harry was said to have always been keen to attend the coronation as it is a key milestone for the family, but would like some recognition of his son's celebration.
A source told Ok! "The Sussexes have asked for some kind of celebration or acknowledgement to be factored into the day's plans to ensure that his fourth birthday won't get lost during the momentous day."
Security arrangements
Another request that has been granted is ensuring there will be adequate security provisions made for Prince Harry, who expressed concerns over his safety. Having lost the family's full time security rights when he stepped back as a royal, he has been told he will be protected when attending events with the Royal Family over the Coronation weekend, as he was when returning for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee in the summer and Her Majesty's funeral in September. However, any social activities that take place outside of these events will require him to provide his own privately funded bodyguards.
Balcony appearance
Harry will lose his position on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony with other senior royals, where he previously celebrated many iconic family moments.
The King and Queen will appear in front of thousands of people on the balcony to celebrate their Coronation - but Harry will not be invited to join them for this historic moment. However some palace insiders claim that Harry never asked to be included on the balcony. Get the latest RSVP headlines straight to your inbox for free by signing up to our newsletter
